Earlier this month, socialite Zari Hassan released a detailed statement confirming the end of her relationship with Shakib Cham.
She explained that the two could no longer continue with their marriage due to irreconcilable differences and decided to part ways for the better.
However, Zari clarified that despite the breakup, they have remained friends.
Shakib has now surprised netizens after revealing that he is still in constant communication with Zari and says he cannot go a full day without speaking to her.
"I spoke with her today, just minutes ago, and she is okay. Just know I can't go a day without speaking to her. We talk every day," he partly explained.
Shakib made the remarks while at Entebbe International Airport as he departed for Nairobi, where he is set to face Arrow Boy in a boxing match over the weekend.
