South Africa-based Ugandan socialite and businesswoman Zari Hassan has opened up about the challenges of marriage, revealing that her husband, Shakib Cham Lutaaya, played a key role in saving their relationship.
Speaking during a recent interview, Zari said every relationship goes through both good and difficult moments, adding that her marriage has not been exempt from those challenges.
The mother of five disclosed that she had at one point decided to end the relationship, but Shakib refused to give up on their marriage.
"I had broken up with him, and he said it was a stunt. Then he dragged me back into marriage," she explained.
Zari revealed that despite the ups and downs they have faced, the couple has now reconciled and is back together.
She credited Shakib's determination and commitment to their marriage, saying he was unwilling to let the relationship come to an end despite the challenges they encountered.
