Solomon Kampala Makes His Own Decisions - Bobi Wine

National Unity Platform (NUP) president Robert Kyagulanyi, popularly known as Bobi Wine, says his son, Solomon Kampala, is old enough to make his own decisions and should take responsibility for his public statements.

Speaking during an interview with Kayz in USA, Bobi Wine said Solomon, who is 20 years old and approaching his 21st birthday, speaks as an individual and is accountable for his own views.

"Solomon is my son but he is twenty years, and very soon he will be making twenty one, and makes personal decisions. Whatever he speaks and says is his responsibility," Bobi Wine said.

The opposition leader also reflected on his role as a father, saying he is satisfied with the values he has instilled in his son while acknowledging that parental guidance remains important.

"I played my role to upbring him morally. I feel proud whenever he speaks the right thing. When he does wrong, I will guide him," he added.

In recent months, Solomon Kampala has publicly commented on issues including corruption and governance, attracting attention on social media and in political discussions.

Bobi Wine's remarks underscore his position that while he supports his son's right to express his views, Solomon is responsible for his own actions and opinions.
