Actress and musician Hellen Lukoma has advised women to choose men who are willing and able to take care of them, while revealing that her husband, Dean Nsubuga, is behind some of the expensive gifts she enjoys.
Lukoma, who lived a relatively humble life before meeting Nsubuga, says women should not assume that every man can afford to provide them with a luxurious lifestyle.
Speaking in a recent interview with a local media house, Lukoma confirmed that her Range Rover was bought for her by her husband.
“Yes, my Range Rover was bought by my husband,” she confirmed.
She however challenged women who expect such expensive gifts from their partners to first consider whether the men they are with can actually afford them.
According to Lukoma, her husband's generosity is driven by the love and appreciation he has for her and what she brings to their relationship.
“He does all these things for me because I deserve it. I'm a beautiful woman, very talented and hardworking, and I'm also decent,” she said.
Lukoma's remarks suggest that, in her view, luxury gifts are not simply about making demands from a partner, but finding someone who genuinely values and appreciates you.
The couple's relationship has often attracted attention, particularly because of the lavish lifestyle Lukoma enjoys with her husband.
