City beautician Sherry Matovu has revealed that she sometimes checks her husband Abdul Salam Ssendegeya’s phone despite being confident and comfortable in their marriage.
Sherry tied the knot with Ssendegeya in a colourful Islamic wedding ceremony at Kibuli Mosque in May, and the couple has since largely kept their relationship away from the public spotlight.
In a recent interview, Sherry opened up about the level of trust and openness between them, revealing that they even share their phone passwords.
“I do check my husband’s phone. However, there is nothing much as to why I check it, and I’m very comfortable in our relationship. We share the same passwords. I think he just loves me so much and deeply. I think he even fears losing me. I don’t know, but that is it,” she said in part.
Sherry explained that checking her husband’s phone does not necessarily mean she suspects him of cheating, saying she remains confident about their relationship.
She also acknowledged that her husband, who is slightly younger and still active, could potentially attract attention from other women, but said she is not allowing such possibilities to disturb her peace.
For now, Sherry appears to be enjoying her new marriage while maintaining a relaxed attitude towards the challenges that can come with relationships.
