Musician Ava Peace has opened up about a serious health scare she experienced this year, revealing that she spent months in and out of hospital and at one point came close to death.
Speaking in an interview with a local television station, Ava Peace described the period as one of the most difficult experiences of her life.
She revealed that her health struggles date back to her Senior Two years, but said the condition became particularly serious this year, leaving her unable to resume normal life for several months.
“I was very sick to the point of a death bed. I was in and out of the hospital. I have struggled with it since my S.2. I think it took me almost six months this year to get back on my feet,” she said.
Ava Peace said she and her management deliberately kept the situation away from the public because they did not want to worry or traumatise her fans.
The singer has since returned to her normal activities after recovering from the health setback.
