Musician Ava Peace has revealed that she has set herself a three-year timeline to get married, saying she is looking forward to experiencing the respect and prestige she associates with marriage.

Speaking about her plans, Ava Peace said she is curious about the realities of married life, especially after hearing married people describe marriage as challenging while still choosing to remain in it.

“Everyone we ask why they’re married says it’s not easy, but they don’t leave. I also want to go and find out why they never leave even when they are suffering as they portray,” she said.

Despite acknowledging the challenges that come with marriage, Ava Peace said she is not afraid of settling down and believes she will be ready when the time comes.

“I love the respect that comes with marriage,” she said, adding that she is also attracted to the prestige she associates with the institution.

The singer said her views have also been influenced by growing up in a family where her parents raised her and her siblings while married.

“My family is also pestering me to get hitched, and I want it too,” she added.

Ava Peace also revealed what she would want in a future husband, saying physical appearance is not her priority.

Instead, she wants a relationship built on mutual respect, faith and support for her music career.

“If you find me in the music industry, you shouldn’t remove me from it, and we should both respect each other,” she added.
