Singer King Saha has sparked debate among music fans after claiming that Nigerian superstars Wizkid and Burna Boy have lost the popularity they once enjoyed.

Speaking during a TikTok Live session, Saha criticised local promoters for prioritising foreign artistes, arguing that some of the musicians they bring to Uganda are no longer at the peak of their careers.

The singer singled out Wizkid and Burna Boy, making controversial remarks about their current status in the music industry.

“Hunger might finish Wizkid without your knowledge. You should look for him, you who used to support them and beat them in our faces. Those guys fell to the ground and even caused cracks. Burna Boy fell off. He used to move with his mother, and all aren’t nowhere to be seen,” Saha said.

His comments have since stirred reactions among music fans, with some questioning his assessment of the two Nigerian stars and arguing that the claims overlook their continued influence in the music industry.
