One of the pioneers of contemporary Ugandan music, Ragga Dee will stand for mayor in 2016 elections.

Ragga Dee said he is more than ready to battle rivals who is also looking to stand for the same position via the NRM slate. If the “Digida” Singer emerges the winner, he will compete for the mayoral elections on the NRM ticket come next year. 

New Vison reports that, Ragga Dee, has asked fellow artist to support his bid and has promised to promote Ugandan music by allowing musicians to pin their posters all over the city ahead of their shows, which Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) had banned.
