Following a sensational year for Vipers attacking midfielder Farouk Miya, he has earned a move to Belgium giants Standard Liege but only on a six months loan deal.

Azam Uganda Premier League champions, Vipers SC have confirmed the sale of their talismanic striker Farouk Miya to Standard Liege of Belgium in a deal worth US $400,000 (Over one billion shillings).

Meanwhile, alternative sources claim a permanent deal worth $ 400,000, however can reliably report that the deal is a six months loan deal for which the Belgium side has parted $ 100,000 in exchange.

The striker joined Vipers in the 2013/2014 mid-season from St Marys College-Kitende making 49 appearances for the club and netting 20 goals in the process.
