Lubowa John, popularly known as Mr Daily Power, is a Ugandan sports content creator whose work has reached audiences across Africa through digital platforms.
Born in Masaka District, Uganda, Mr Daily Power began his education at St. Joseph Primary School before joining St. Jude Secondary School, where he completed his secondary studies.
After finishing school, he turned to the internet in search of opportunities that could help him build a career while also inspiring fellow young people. He later began sharing sports-related content online, steadily growing a following across Uganda and beyond.
Through his work, Mr Daily Power says his main goal has always been to inspire and empower young people to use their talents and digital platforms to improve their lives.
“I like to see fellow youths and other people transforming their lives through their talents,” he said.
He credits the growth of digital platforms for creating opportunities for young people to showcase their skills without needing large financial resources.
Despite the challenges many content creators face, Mr Daily Power believes the industry can make a meaningful impact on communities by educating, entertaining, and inspiring people.
He says his main focus is not how much money he earns from content creation, but rather how his work can motivate others to think differently and pursue opportunities online.
“In Uganda, many content creation ideas are coming up, but people are not benefiting enough from them. I really wish Ugandan content creators could benefit from their work like many of our neighbors in Nigeria, Ghana, and other countries,” he added.
Although he says earnings from content creation are still limited, Mr Daily Power notes that he continues to receive support and appreciation from sports fans in different countries, proudly representing Uganda through his work.
