Reports claim Kampala Woman MP-elect Shamim Malende has allegedly flown to Germany for medical treatment following her long battle with health complications, though no official confirmation has been made.

He explained that they have built a strong legacy together in Kampala district and will continue working for the good of Malende's political career.

Both Malende and Ssebunya have separately confirmed that their five-year marriage has irretrievably broken down, and they're not holding back on the explosive accusations.

Over the weekend, Kampala Woman Member of Parliament, Shamim Malende, went public about her relationship with Andrew Sebunya, revealing that it is no more.

The couple was frequently seen together, and Ssebunya even served as her personal assistant at one point.

The legislator, who is currently receiving treatment in Nairobi, has been advised by medical doctors to undergo surgery for her health.

Hon Shamim Malende the Kampala Woman Member of Parliament is out of the Intensive Care Unit-ICU at the Agha Khan Hospital where she was rushed Tuesday evening hours after undergoing abdominal surgery. 

Malende was flown out to the Nairobi hospital on Saturday last week after her condition deteriorated at the Uganda Martyrs Hospital in Lubaga Division, Kampala where she was first admitted on November 13, 2022.
