After landing in Uganda from his South African tour, Ghetto president Bobi Wine has headed to Boston, Massachusetts where he’s set to perform at the 28th UNAA Convention.

Bobi Wine flew out on Wednesday to join the rest of the team that includes, Nancy Kacungira, the first recipient of the BBC World News Komla Dumor Award who will be hosting the business expo part of the convention, Sheebah, David Lutalo, King Saha and Haruna Mubiru, Cindy , and Irene Ntale who will be performing at the same event.

Meanwhile, Robin Kisti, Sheila Gashumba and Aamito Lagum will be presiding over the event.

The UNAA convention has also attracted several political guests including the two speakers of parliament, Rebecca Kadaga and her Deputy, Jacob Oulanya who have travelled with a delegation of 78 members of parliament.

Some of the MPs on the delegation are Kato Lubwama, Mohammed Nsereko, Zaake Francis, Lyandro Komakech, Peter Ogwang, Felix Okot Ogong, Cissy Namujju, Johnson Muyanja Senyonga, Tusiime Michael, Alex Ruhunda and Godfrey Katushabe.

UNNA convention is one of the biggest Ugandan festival gatherings in the Diaspora, and it brings together Ugandans living in North America and creates a platform on which they can network, share, and experience Ugandan culture.
