Celebrated singer and now newly elected Member of Parliament for Kyadondo East constituency Bobi Wine has shot back at nemesis Bebe Cool who alleges that his move to politics is for financial gains.
While appearing at NTV The Beat a few weeks ago the Kabulenage star was asked to comment about Bobi Wine's contest by Douglas Lwanga the host and he said “I won't join politics because politicians are broke"
He further claimed that musicians that join politics are those that don't have music at heart and joined the industry to only get rich and exit.
Well yesterday, Bobi Wine was hosted Sheila Nduhukire during NTV Weekend Edition News at 9 pm and was tasked to respond to Bebe Cool’s comments.
This is what he said "I made sure I have enough money before joining politics"
Furthermore, he claimed that music actually contributes just up to about 10% of his income.
Bobi Wine is into real estate, Agriculture and retail businesses.
