Celebrated dancehall singer, Ziza Bafana was nabbed during the Kawumyemu operations in Wandegeya on Saturday night drink driving. It is said that his breath tripled the acceptable standard.
He was then taken to Wandegeya police post where he spent the early morning in the coolers.
We spoke to Bafana and he informed us that he was taken to the cell at 44 am on Saturday morning and was released on Sunday.
The singer also informed us that he was treated like a chicken thief and police men had no respect for him even after finding out that his is a public figure.
“They found out that I was a star but still treated me like a chicken thief. I was not given a chance to explain myself, “Bafana cried out.
When we asked him if he was bullied by some of the inmates, he laughed it off saying he is ‘majje’ (soldier).
