Singer Namukwaya Diana commonly known by her stage name Spice Diana was thumped by police over the weekend after failing to obey guidelines at the Kampala City Carnival. She was admitted at Entebbe road based Malcom Hospital where she nursed wounds until Wednesday.
Speaking to us via a telephone interview, the singer informed us that she has given up plans to sue the Uganda Police.
“You know that I am just a mere singer, and can’t fight with the police. We all know that the poor can’t win any case,” she said.
The singer sustained minor injuries including pain in her chest, scratches on the back and a dislocated lower left limb.
