Controversial singer Moses Ssali alias Bebe Cool confirmed that he is not fasting in this holy month of Ramathan.
He revealed this during a meeting that was called by the Uganda Moslem Council at Muganzi Rwaza building in Katwe. It was aimed at looking at ways how artistes can use their talent to preach about the religion.
According to the "Katono" singer, he has not practised fasting since childhood due to a rare illness that affects his digestive system prohibiting him from taking longer hours minus having food. However, he remained tight-lipped on the details of the illness.
He further said he respects Ramathan and pays his dues as a practising Moslem and also uses his music to preach the religion during his performances.
Some of the artistes that attended include; Haruna Mubiru, Bossa Serunkuma, and Swahab Kasuumba among others. Others that declined to attend include; Sheeba Klaungi. Dax Kartel, Roden Y, Kalifa Aganaga, King Saha among many others.
