Musician Emmanuel Mayanja alias AK47 passed on in 2015 after succumbing to injuries sustained at De Javu bar in Kansanga.
Every year on 16th March, friends, family, and the music fraternity come together to remember the life of AK47.
This year, the service happened at Kalangalo in Mityana at the Mayanja’s ancestral home.
While celebrating his life, the late’s mother, Proscovia Mayanja said AK47 told her through a dream that he wanted his grave in a house.
“He wants a house built around his grave. He told me in a dream and we are going to do it,” she said.
AK47 was the last born in the Mayanja family. His other brothers include; Weasel Manizo, Pallaso, Humphrey, and Jose Chameleone.
