Hajjat Kuluthum Nabunya, the former wife of late Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata Batte, has addressed rumors about her alleged relationship with recently murdered blogger Isma Olaxes Tusubira.
Reports of a possible fling between the two emerged months after the Muslim cleric's death and were amplified by Olaxes himself, who publicly commented on his closeness to Sheikh Muzaata's widow.
However, during a recent interview with Bukedde TV, Kuluthum clarified that she was never romantically involved with Olaxes. She explained that he made statements about their relationship to stir up social media and knew what people wanted to hear.
Kuluthum acknowledged that Olaxes was a great friend and was always serious when it came to business matters. She revealed that he had made himself available to comfort her during her graduation ceremony in May 2022 and continued to do so on his livestreams. But she emphasized that their close relationship did not extend beyond just friendship.
