His Royal Highness William Wilberforce Gabula Nadiope IV, the Kyabazinga of Busoga Kingdom, is set to graduate with a Master's Degree in Advanced Studies in Global Affairs from Yale University in the United States.
Through his social media platforms, the Kyabazinga confirmed the good news to his subjects as he posed for a picture with Her Royal Highness Jovia Mutesi on the university campus.
Accompanying the picture of the Kyabazinga and Her Royal Highness Jovia Mutesi was the statement: "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams" —Eleanor Roosevelt.
His subjects have taken to social media and congratulated him upon completing his studies, and messages are still pouring in.
This is not his first postgraduate degree; the Kyabazinga previously earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Coventry University in the United Kingdom.
He is also currently pursuing a PhD in Business Administration at the University of Portsmouth, where he is now in his third year.
Born into the royal lineage of Busoga, a subnational kingdom in eastern Uganda, Gabula Nadiope IV ascended to the throne in 2014.
Since then, he has combined his traditional leadership role with a commitment to education and global engagement.
Away from his academic and royal duties, the Kyabazinga’s personal life has also drawn national attention. In a grand ceremony held in 2023, he married Her Royal Highness Jovia Mutesi in a widely celebrated royal wedding.
With his continued academic pursuits and dedication to leadership, Kyabazinga Gabula Nadiope IV stands out as a modern monarch bridging tradition and progress.
The Kyabazinga currently stands out as the most educated among the cultural leaders in Uganda and East Africa at large.
