Rumors have been circulating for months suggesting Bebe Cool's elder son, Allan Hendrick, was battling mental illness, often attributed to drug use.

Other sources even reported he checked into a rehabilitation facility for drug addiction and drinking problems.

Bebe Cool had been silent for all these months, despite being outspoken whenever he calls out other artists for similar issues, as seen with King Saha.

He has, however, broken his silence on the matter and confirmed his elder son has been battling personal struggles which forced him into rehab.

The Gagamel boss didn't go deep into the matter and never shared details about it. He did, however, reveal it's his son's own responsibility to overcome them.

"It's true that Allan was going through some personal struggles that neither I nor anyone could help him out of," he explained.

Bebe Cool also cautioned people against pointing fingers, revealing mental health is a significant problem that shouldn't be blamed on anyone.

He emphasized unity in fighting it.

"Many people have undergone such situations, including Chameleone and even myself when Zuena left me. Mental health is a big challenge, and people shouldn't therefore be pointing fingers," he noted.
