Musician Grace Khan has opened up about her long battle with substance abuse and alcohol, attributing it to depression.
The singer, known for spending days and nights in bars consuming various types of alcohol, stated she was going through a period of intense stress and depression.
"I was struggling with stress and a lot of personal challenges. I resorted to drugs and alcohol for a sense of safety, but it only affected me even more," she explained.
Khan claims she is currently sober, but it's public knowledge that she continues to struggle with increased alcohol consumption.
Just last month, she was dropped by music manager Thadeus, who had signed her in May of this year. It's alleged that she was let go due to her persistent alcohol consumption and disrespectful behavior.
Grace Khan's involvement with drugs and alcohol began after she left the Nu Eagles Band. She frequented various bars in Kampala, drinking whatever alcohol she could find.
Her drinking habits escalated after she was reportedly dumped by fellow musician Prince Omar, and despite efforts from friends and family to intervene, she has continued to struggle with alcohol.
