Over the weekend, the National Unity Platform (NUP) announced a list of leaders for various positions who will represent the party in the 2026 general elections.
The elections management committee announced endorsed leaders at the district, sub-county, and city division levels across the country.
Among the well-known figures endorsed by the NUP were Nubian Li, Jacob Omutuzze, and Mr. Mosh.
Nubian Li was endorsed to represent the party in the mayoral race for Nakawa division, where he beat other strong contenders, including the incumbent, Paul Mugambe.
Jacob Omutuzze was also given the green light by the party. He will represent the National Unity Platform in the race for Chairman of the LC III division in Bunamwaya.
Sendi Mosh was also endorsed to represent the party in the Makindye East LC V division after pulling out of the race for the Member of Parliament position.
However, the party has not yet announced the dates for the endorsement of their flag bearers for different Member of Parliament positions across the country.
