Musician Jowy Landa, real name Joan Namugerwa, was involved in a serious road accident late Thursday night along Kasangati Road. The TCM singer was reportedly travelling in her new Toyota Noah when the incident occurred.
According to eyewitnesses, the crash was severe, with the car sustaining heavy damage on the driver's side, leaving the door "stuck inside." Onlookers described her survival as a "miracle," after she and the other passengers were pulled out alive.
Jowy Landa has since confirmed that she and those she was traveling with only sustained minor injuries. The Toyota Noah had only recently been gifted to her by her new management to facilitate her travel for upcountry performances.
Details regarding the cause of the accident are still pending.
