Musician Pius Mayanja, also known as Pallaso, earlier this week made the decision to officially join the National Unity Platform (NUP) and work with Bobi Wine during the campaign trail.
Pallaso was welcomed by the party's President, who congratulated him upon joining the largest opposition party.
Bobi Wine also praised Pallaso for his consistent support and his commitment to calling out injustices in society across the country.
The NUP President, however, encouraged Pallaso to bring other artists on board to work for the change many Ugandans are seeking to achieve.
"I thank you for what you do. I have been following you; please continue to do the right thing. Thank you for always standing with me and showing the public that it's not about me but all of us. Persuade many of our brothers and friends to join us because we have been blessed by God," Bobi Wine said during a meeting with Pallaso.
Pallaso joins a list of other artists, including King Saha, Nina Roz, Big Eye, Fik Fameica, and others, who have already endorsed Bobi Wine for the country's leadership.
