Singer Grace Namuwulya, better known by her stage name Grace Khan, has made a shocking revelation about her past struggles with addiction — admitting that she used drugs while pregnant with her daughter Grannah, whom she shares with fellow musician Prince Omar.
In an interview with Shalom 256 on YouTube, the “Njakufa Naye” hitmaker opened up about her darkest days, revealing that she didn’t realize she was pregnant until months later.
“I found out I was pregnant when I was about three months along. I was a drug addict then, and that’s probably why I didn’t notice earlier. It was actually a male friend who pointed it out. I almost died from the shock,” Grace recounted.
The singer, whose turbulent relationship with Prince Omar has often been in the public eye, admitted she was initially overwhelmed by the news and even contemplated ending the pregnancy, knowing their relationship was unstable.
However, she says keeping her baby was the best decision she ever made.
“God doesn’t give you responsibilities you can’t handle. I don’t regret keeping my baby — my daughter is a blessing,” she said with gratitude.
Earlier this year, Grace reportedly fell out with her manager, Tadius Katumba, over concerns about her drinking habits. She has since admitted to battling addiction for over six years.
Grace Khan now says she’s determined to stay sober, rebuild her music career, and focus on being a better mother.
