The long-standing rift between singers King Saha and Eddy Kenzo has taken a new twist, with Saha launching a fresh verbal attack on his fellow artiste and rival.
Speaking during a recent interview, the Zakayo hitmaker branded Kenzo “useless” to President Yoweri Museveni, saying his appointment as Senior Presidential Advisor on Creatives has brought no tangible results to the entertainment industry.
“He has poor advisors like Eddy Kenzo,” Saha said. “We expect nothing from this government because of people like Kenzo who can’t do anything. The government has a lot of crap advisors — many are useless because they don’t understand anything.”
Saha, a known supporter of Bobi Wine and the National Unity Platform (NUP), argued that Kenzo and other presidential advisors have failed to guide the President on key issues affecting Ugandan artists and the creative sector.
The tension between the two musicians dates back several years, fueled by political differences and leadership disputes within the Uganda National Musicians Federation.
Kenzo, who was appointed Senior Presidential Advisor on Creatives in 2024, has remained firm in his support for President Museveni — a stance that continues to put him at odds with opposition-leaning artistes like King Saha.
