As the election season heats up, several artistes are cashing in on campaign performances — but Alien Skin says he’ll be more selective this time around.
Despite his massive influence, the “Sitya Danger” hitmaker has only appeared at a few rallies, including President Museveni’s nomination event at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds.
Speaking about his approach this season, Alien Skin revealed he won’t perform for every candidate, emphasizing that his brand and influence must be used responsibly.
“I can’t perform everywhere this campaign season because I’m a brand,” he said. “I won’t work for just anyone. I’m a big inspiration to young people, and I want to show them the right thing. I’ll only perform for a few candidates I personally choose — I don’t want to lie to people through endorsements.”
Although Alien Skin has recently had strained relations with the National Unity Platform (NUP), he didn’t reveal which political sides he intends to support — only confirming he will endorse a few select candidates across the country.
