Media personality Caroline Marcah has set social media ablaze after claiming that women cheat emotionally while men cheat physically.
In an interview with a local YouTuber, Marcah argued that for most women, cheating begins mentally and emotionally long before it becomes physical — a process she believes makes it difficult for relationships to survive after a woman is unfaithful.
Marcah explained that by the time a woman steps out to cheat, she has already detached from her partner internally.
“Women cheat with emotions unlike men. Women check out mentally and emotionally before going out physically. That’s why a relationship can never continue when a woman cheats. Going out to cheat comes after she has gone long with her heart and emotions,” she said.
Her remarks have ignited a fresh wave of debate online regarding gender and infidelity, with many questioning whether men and women truly cheat differently — and whether emotional betrayal is more damaging than physical cheating.
The discussion continues to spark contrasting opinions across social media platforms.
