A 22-year-old security guard has been arraigned before court and charged in connection with the rape, murder, and aggravated robbery of popular Ugandan TikToker Diana Namulinde, widely known as Dianah Skys.

Prosecution, led by Senior State Attorney Mercy Yamangusho Khaidarah, told court that on February 4, 2026, at Kyanja Kwata Zone, Webisa allegedly had carnal knowledge of Diana Namulinde without her consent, an offence contrary to Sections 110 and 111 of the Penal Code Act.
He was further charged with murder, contrary to Sections 171 and 172, and aggravated robbery under Sections 266 and 267(2) of the Penal Code Act.
According to prosecution, the accused allegedly robbed the deceased of:
Two mobile phones

Due to the capital nature of the offences, Webisa did not take plea, as such cases can only be tried by the High Court.
Court heard that investigations are still ongoing. The accused has been remanded to Luzira Prison until March 3, 2026, when the matter will return to court for mention.
