Musician Joshua Baraka is mourning the loss of his father, Mr. Lawrence Okello Habalu, who passed away on June 7, 2026.
The singer confirmed the heartbreaking news through his social media platforms, where he shared funeral and burial arrangements for family, friends, and well-wishers.
According to the family, a church service will be held on Monday, June 8, at Kamwokya Church of God starting at 3:00 p.m. Burial is scheduled for Tuesday in Kayunga District, Bugelele Kitimbwa, at 2:00 p.m.
In a death notice shared online, the family paid tribute to the late Lawrence Okello Habalu, describing him as a devoted man of faith whose life positively impacted many people.
“He will be dearly missed by family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by him. We give thanks for the life, love, and memories shared. He was a man after God's heart,” the statement read.
