Band singer Carol Nantongo has opened up about the emotional and physical challenges she experienced while giving birth to her first child earlier this year.

Speaking candidly about her labor experience, Nantongo admitted that the pain was overwhelming and unlike anything she had ever imagined.

"No one warned me about the emotional and physical realities of labour. It is not easy. It is painful, and I personally lost my judgment in that moment. I lost myself," she partly explained.

Despite the difficult experience, Nantongo said she remains deeply grateful to the family members and loved ones who stood by her throughout the delivery.

She paid special tribute to her mother, mother-in-law, sisters, and the father of her child for their unwavering support during one of the most challenging moments of her life.

"It was hard and painful, but I had people who loved me so much. My mother was with me throughout the whole experience, along with my mother-in-law, my sisters, and the father of my child. I am grateful to them," she added.
