Musician Gloria Bugie has revealed that she asked Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz and Rwandan singer The Ben for opportunities to collaborate when the two artistes visited Uganda last week.
Speaking in an interview with a local television station, Gloria Bugie said she grew up listening to their music and has always admired their talent and influence.
She described both musicians as major inspirations to her career, adding that meeting them gave her an opportunity to express her interest in working together on future projects.
“I grew up listening to their music, both Diamond Platnumz and The Ben. They are an inspiration to me as a musician, and I like everything about their music. They are such a big deal for our generation. I got the opportunity and made it clear to them that I would love to work together,” she said.
