Veteran artiste manager Kayemba Solo has clarified his current working relationship with musician Rema Namakula, insisting that he still plays a role in managing her career despite her working with a different team.

Speaking in an interview with a local television station, Kayemba dismissed reports that he had completely stopped managing Rema, explaining that he remains involved while another team handles her day-to-day operations.

“I have heard the rumours that I no longer manage Rema, but that’s not true. I still help with her management, although someone else is handling the day-to-day operations,” he said.

Kayemba Solo and Rema Namakula have worked together for nearly 15 years, building a long-standing professional relationship in Uganda’s music industry.

His clarification suggests that although the management structure has changed, he continues to support Rema’s music career behind the scenes.
