Comedian Patrick Salvador has opened up about his long-distance marriage, revealing that his wife, Daphne Franckstock, continues to take care of him despite living thousands of miles away.
Daphne relocated to Canada a few years ago in search of better opportunities, leaving Salvador in Uganda. However, the comedian says the distance has not weakened their relationship or stopped his wife from looking after him.
According to Salvador, Daphne checks on him daily, asking whether he has eaten breakfast, lunch and supper and whether he has everything he needs.
“I am still happily married to my wife. She went abroad, and I have learnt how to cope with and manage a long-distance relationship. She still looks after me. She calls asking if I had lunch, breakfast, supper, and everything I need,” he said.
Salvador explained that his wife’s move to Canada was a joint decision aimed at improving their family’s financial prospects and securing a better future for their children.
Despite living in different countries, the comedian maintains that they have found ways to manage their marriage and remain involved in each other’s daily lives.
His remarks offer a glimpse into how the couple is navigating the challenges of a long-distance marriage while working towards their family’s shared goals.
