13 year old Seeta high senior two student Nagawa Linda is the Mirinda Miss Teen 2016/2017. Linda was voted Miss Teen at the annual Miss Teen grand finale event at UMA grounds Lugogo.
“I agree with the judges, she beat all the others, she is brilliant, funny, beautiful, and very lively. She deserves the crown,” said Agnes Kabaga from Lubiri SS
Linda immediately after being crowned promised to be an active Miss teen as well as a good student at Seeta High.
“I went into this knowing the challenge of balancing the crown and school, am very prepared for that. 2016/2017 is going to have the most active Miss teen ever trust me,” said a smiley Linda.
Vanessa Nansoove the outgoing Miss Teen wished Linda the best and hinted to her the benefits that come with the crown.
“The moment you are crowned, you can never be the same again, media attention, celebrity status, scholarships among other things. Linda is welcome to the celebrity world,” said Nansoove.
In the other categories, Miss Play hard- the dynamics crew from St Joseph's Nsambya took the award, Kisakye Priscilla from Nabisunsa was crowned Miss Ambitious and Miss fashionista is now Namutebi Betty from Horizon St Lawrence.
According to Mr Timothy Luzinda the brand manager Mirinda, the event was a success and as has been, Mirinda will fulfill its pledges to the crowned girls.
