Mbarara’s Dorothy Mutahunga Lands New Deal

Mbarara based sensational singer Dorothy Mutahunga has landed a mega deal with Mbarara based NGO called Help Ugandan Child.  She has been signed as the NGO ambassador to the sell the NGO’s name across the country.

Mutahunga has been musically struggling. She failed to keep up with the fast growing music industry and cooled down. She performs on introduction and wedding parties for a living. She is most popular in West Uganda and she is the highest paid upcountry musician.

We spotted Mutahunga over the weekend in Rukungiri district where she had gone to perform at the ceremony of the government official. She used the chance to announce her comeback after signing the deal. She was so happy and telling off whoever cared to listen that she is now back for good.

Mutahunga hails from Rwampara county. She turned into a musician just after her high school. Her family was against her career journey until she started earning some good money.
