Cancer victim, Carlo Atuhirwe was laid to rest yesterday afternoon in Ishongororo, Kabale Village, Ibanda District.

During the funeral, the deceased’s parents Mugizi Fankline and Mugizi Grace described the late as “as a person who will not be replaced”.

Meanwhile, Carol’s parents said Carol’s death wish was that government should put Radio therapy machines in different hospitals so that other people could not go through the kind of suffering she endured.

A 31 year old Atuhirwe was treated with throat cancer which was detected last year and a fundraising campaign was launched by her friends aimed at getting funds for her operation in India.

May her soul rest in peace!
