Partying with nature is one of the best ways to let go, let loose and go crazy. Yes…I’m talking outdoor parties. Whether it’s one of those spontaneously random parties that just started with two people or one you’ve been planning for days, the end result is always fun. Outdoor, backyard, nature turns…you name it, these parties are very uncomplicated and easy to pull off. The best part is, they work within whatever budget you have.
Decide on a theme:
The first thing you need to do however is set the scene. Some hosts prefer to work with a theme. So whether you go with a make shift beach incorporated into the backyard, with the beach balls and sand to go with or choose to work with an outdoor game themed event, or just a chill dance party setting, all should be aimed at bringing everyone together and having a good time.
Get creative:
With an outdoor party, nothing should be off limits. With just a little touch of paint, the tires in your backyard would make the place more colourful, that tree stump in the middle of the yard, amazing stool or mini table, those backyard trees can work as light holders. Even the buckets around can work as coolers, just drop some ice in them and let that beer chill.
Décor is everything:
Work your creativity to amuse your party people. An awesome party always works its way into the night, have glow lights. You can never have so many of these. Give as many to the guests put some in the beer coolers to create some excitement, hell…throw some in the pool if you have one around. Light that party up.
Get cheeky with some games:
Party games…This cannot be stressed enough. Games always make the party lit, I mean the alcohol does that mostly…but the games, they bring everyone together, so much laughter, so many confessions, so much fireworks… okay maybe not that far. The point is, games are just as important as the party food. Drunk people love to eat.
Music will make or break your party:
Saving the most important for last, the Music. Music fuels the whole party. It drives the mood, the tone, the moves and generally the time the party ends. What’s key however is not to crank it up so loud that guys cannot hear each other. Let them be able to have a little bit of both, the crazy playlist and their neighbor’s name.
Be a party superhero:
As the host, create a secure environment and make sure everyone is within viewable distance. If you can round them up to help with the cleaning after the party, then you clearly have some magical superpowers. Of you need to share this party trick with the rest of the world. But if you can’t, don’t fuss about it. Nobody likes a clean freak host. And that, is how you host a kickass outdoor party.
