Swangz Avenue, one of the biggest record labels in the country has four artists signed under it. They include Winnie Nwagi, Azawi, Vinka, and Zafaran.

Winnie Nwagi joined the label on 13th October 2014 after her thrilling performance in the Coca Cola Rated Next Talent Search where she emerged as the second runner-up.

Vinka and Azawi enrolled for  Swangz Avenue in 2016 and late 2019 respectively.

It is rumored that Winnie Nwagi feels frustrated that the two have benefited more from labels than her.

Insiders say the bosses accuse her of gross indiscipline which has hindered her career growth. They are using the other female artists to chop her wings.

But it seems many music fans think she deserves equal treatment at the label.

After Swangz Avenue announced the Azawi concert, music lovers took to social media to express their dissatisfaction.
Many believe Winnie Nwagi has earned her place at the label over the years.

Dj Nimrod said Winnie Nwagi joined the label before anyone else, she has the right to a concert or an album before anyone else.

“They are not fair to Winnie Nwagi. She joined before anyone else but other artists under the label are doing great things before her, ” Nimrod said on his Evening Rush show.

Winnie Nwagi has never dropped an album nor held a concert despite working with Swangz Avenue for almost 10 years.
