On Wednesday this week, the promoters Association under the stewardship of Bajjo events released the proposed hiring fee for different musicians in Uganda.
This wasn't well received by musicians including their President Cindy Sanyu who has branded it fake.
Cindy asked the musicians to rebel against the selfish promoters and asked them to only hire the musicians they can afford.
"If you can't afford an artiste, don't hire them.
You can't force an artiste to step down to your standards," furious Cindy.
On the list, the breakdown of what some artists cost includes; Bobi Wine at 20m, Eddy Kenzo at 6m, Chameleone at 5m, Bebe Cool at 1.5m, 200K for Ronald Mayinja, and 150K for Pinky among others.
