Last week, struggling musician Ibrahim Mayanja, aka Big Eye, officially joined the National Unity Platform, and he was welcomed by its President, Bobi Wine.
Big Eye, who spent years aligned with NRM, says he is already seeing hope and a renewed life in NUP.
He was welcomed with open arms and has since received much love and support from family, friends, and NUP supporters for the step he took.
"I see hope and life in NUP. I have been with NRM, but I was not living the best life. I was releasing music, but it never reached a broader audience. Now, I can see a renewed person in myself," he stated.
Big Eye says joining NUP was the best decision he ever made and that he will never regret it.
