Singer Big Eye Starboss (real name Ibrahim Mayanja) has shared his feelings after receiving a warm hug from National Unity Platform (NUP) president Bobi Wine.

Big Eye officially joined NUP last week after being expelled from the ruling party, which he had previously supported. He had been facing a lot of backlash from fans who would throw bottles and force him off the stage during his performances.

Big Eye was invited to the opening of NUP's new offices, where he received a special welcome from Bobi Wine and other party members.

"Bobi Wine called me forward in the gathering, hugged me, and told me that I am welcome and should feel at home," Big Eye Starboss said.

Big Eye expressed that this was a dream come true for him.

"I saw Mr. Kyagulanyi genuinely smile at me, and when we hugged, he shared something very dear with me; he said I should feel at home," he added.
