Following Big Eye’s concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval, comedian Reign faced backlash after mocking the event, calling it a flop and claiming it had more online viewers than physical attendees.

The comments sparked outrage among NUP supporters, who demanded a public apology.

Reign eventually apologized during Amooti’s concert over the weekend, clarifying that his remarks were not meant to demean Big Eye.

“My friend Big Eye held a show recently at Lugogo Cricket Oval. However, I made some demeaning remarks during an interview. I didn’t mean to put you down. I sincerely apologize,” he said.
