Elijah Kitaka continues to rise as one of the most exciting new stars in Uganda’s music industry. His rapid growth is fueled by a string of hit songs and a daring sense of fashion that constantly keeps fans talking.
Over time, his bold and unconventional style has sparked debate, with some critics labeling him “crazy” for his unique fashion choices. But Kitaka says he’s unfazed by the negativity.
“I really don’t care about critics. They judge me as a mad man, but I don’t care. Whenever people see someone different, they think you’re crazy — and that’s okay. To reach where I am, you have to be bold, and it’s working for me,” he said in an interview with a local television station.
Kitaka insists that his fashion is an essential part of his identity and artistry. He says he has no plans to tone it down, promising to keep pushing boundaries both musically and stylistically.
