Comedian Reign Rules Out Performing for Museveni or Muhoozi

Comedian Reign has stated that he will never perform for President Yoweri Museveni or the Chief of Defence Forces, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba.

Speaking in an interview with a local television station, Reign said he does not support the NRM government and believes performing for its top leaders would go against his values and fan base.

“I can never perform for President Museveni, not even Muhoozi Kainerugaba. I don’t want to make them happy. It would be suicidal because I would be betraying the people who support me,” he said.

The comedian also revealed that he previously turned down an opportunity to perform at one of Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s birthday events.

According to Reign, he quoted a fee of Shs1 billion for the performance, which led to the cancellation of the booking by the promoter.
