Former Kawempe South MP Hon. Kazibwe Bashir Mbaziira has returned to the Ugandan airwaves after nearly six years away from radio.
Kazibwe officially resumed his broadcasting career on Sunday, September 6, 2026, joining 96.3 Beat FM, where he hosts a new political talk show dubbed Alipoota Olutagajjo every Sunday from 12pm to 2pm.
The programme focuses on political affairs and major issues shaping Uganda and the wider world, a format that has long been associated with Kazibwe's broadcasting career.
Before joining active politics, Kazibwe built a strong reputation at Bukedde FM, where he became known for his understanding of current affairs, well-researched discussions and engaging on-air delivery.
His decision to return to radio comes after several years of concentrating on politics, including his time as the Member of Parliament for Kawempe South.
The return has already generated excitement among longtime listeners who remember his earlier days behind the microphone.
With his political experience and background in broadcasting, Kazibwe is expected to bring a different perspective to political discussions on the new programme.
