Singer Sheebah Karungi has praised responsible fathers, saying she values men who take an active role in raising and providing for their children.
Speaking during a sit-down podcast with fellow singer Winnie Nwagi, Sheebah said her decision to take her time before starting a family ultimately helped her choose the right partner.
For Sheebah, being a good father is not necessarily about wealth or financial status, but about taking responsibility and doing everything possible to care for one’s children.
“I gave birth with the right person. That’s why I delayed getting a man. I really respect a father who is standing with the children. It is not about money, it is not about wealth. It is taking responsibility,” she said.
She added that she has great respect for fathers who remain committed to their children and continue doing everything within their means to provide for them.
“I respect the responsible fathers doing everything to take care of their children at whatever cost,” Sheebah said.
During the discussion, Sheebah and Nwagi also touched on parenthood, music, culture and other aspects of their personal lives.
