Earlier this year, Rema Namakula slated her concert dubbed ‘Rema in Live concert’ for 5th May at people's space, Africana Hotel. However, word reaching us indicates that National Environmental Management Authority (NEMA) banned the hotel from holding any more shows outside their halls.This was due to noise pollution following the recent Construction of Speke apartments that are located just metres away.
Currently artistes are only advised to stage concerts at the swimming pool area for a VIP strict show just like what Mesach Ssemakula in the recently concluded concert.
According to Robert Kayemba, commonly known as KT promotions who is the sole promoter for this show is resorting for Serena conference hall in a VIP show.
