After waiting for six full years for a Juliana Kanyomozi concert, Juliana’s Up close and Personal concert on the 18th of October was both awesome and worth the long wait. For approximately two full hours, Juliana gave it her all, to the delight of her full house fans.

Apart from Golola’s dance moves on stage, there were a lot of other interesting highlights at the concert. Performances from Burundi’s Kidum, guitar maestro Michael Ouma and Veteran Moses Matovu of Afrigo Band were some of the sweetest moments of the evening.

Juliana stepped on stage at about 8.30 with Nabikoowa, and took her fans through two hours of exhilaration. Important to note is that she was very smart and went through an array of costumes that brought out the best of her glow.

Juliana Kanyomozi thanked the Ghetto president Bobi Wine for his role in making her a star. I guess you all remember Tata W’abana and Mama Mbiire, two songs that Juliana did with Bobi Wine and obviously earned her a footing in the industry.

By the end of the show at around 10.30, it was evident that Juliana’s fans were elated and the wait had been worth it. An elated fun even said, “I can comfortably wait for another seven years and this will still be on my head.”
